After reading the reviews I was expecting great things at a mid-range price. I was disappointed to have dry chicken breast and tiny thumb nail size shrimp. No full menu printed out. We've experienced tapas restaurants like ceviche in Orlando and were astonished at the pricing; even more expensive than a huge fine dining establishment in the heart of orlando... More

I cannot remember having such a delightful evening in a very long time! Visiting the Escazu area of San Jose for the first time, and wanted to try something we couldn't get in the States. Trip Advisor rated this restaurant quite highly - especially for the price - and we decided to give it a try. It's a good thing... More

Amazing food and wonderful service! We had a wonderful meal including tapas and wine. Better than Barcelona and Madrid! Highly recommend. View from balcony was beautiful. Able to see the lights of San Jose'. Service was superb! We will be back!

The view from the place is beautiful, the attention is incredible. They offer very good Spanish wine at a very good price and the food is good as well. I recommend it!

Very nice place, a gateway close to the city in a really rustic but fine environment. Food was awesome, however it needs more descriptions for those who do not know that much about Spanish food. Morcilla is the best I have tried. Prices some good, some off, but overall worth for a special occasion

We went based on the ratings I looked at on TA. This is a mediterranean look place with lots of character, but not overly classy and that is in a good way. The wait staff (Jennifer) was excellent and we ordered two tapas and two medium sized dishes to share. The chorizo was very good and the potato tortilla was... More

It's hard to believe that in such an "off the beaten track" location one would find such delectable Spanish treats!!! Wonderful Pulpo a la Gallega that I haven't eaten since a long ago vacation in Madrid!! Heavenly Gambas al Ajillo! My husband loved the Callos a la Madrileña, too. Delightful rustic setting in an old adobe house, attentive service and... More

Nice cozy ambiance, food was delicious. The wine list was good, but limited. GET THE SANGRIA! Staff was very friendly. I will certainly be back.
