This is one of the best restaurants in Escazu, if not the best. The ambience is off the chart. My understanding is the restaurant is in a historic colonial building that has been restored. They did an amazing job. A truly great place to unwind...and enjoy authentic Costa Rican food and drink. Everything we ate and drank was excellent. Very high quality. Well prepared and presented. Can’t imagine why anyone would review otherwise. This restaurant deserves 5 stars or more! Do yourself a favor and experience this unique restaurant.More

It is a nice store to visit but the food is terrible. I’ve been several times and my advice is to go get a tour of the store and it’s products, it’s a lovely setup, once you find the perfect gift head up or somewhere...else for a better gastronomic experience.More

Very cute place to eat or hang out. The food was delicious, the only complaint I have is that the menus are rather tiny for the price.

This old house has inviting shopping to tempt you as you walk into the restaurant and garden. The menu for lunch, supper or just a cup of tea or coffee is filled with good suggestions. Lots of atmosphere.

Terrible service, horrible experience. If you are a foreigner you may find this “cool”. If you are tico, you find this a scam, profiting from local design at foreign prices.

Bravo for this restaurant. The hub and I both thoroughly enjoyed the food and the decor. Hub had the best vegan sandwich ever with green salad (excellent dressing). I had outstanding spinach ravioli.

Local people introduced this place to us. We really like it. In a historical structure house, it is great place to have an afternoon break and hangout with friends or have a date with husband. Beautiful garden, beautiful cups. We only drink juice and coffee....They are good!More

Located in a historically protected house, the restaurant (and artists store), Sin Domicilio Fijo is a wonderful restaurant. You would never think you are in the middle of a city when you are there. The ambiance is cool, warm, and outdoorsy, the staff friendly and...the food delectable. My friend and I had the most amazing lunch in this quaint restaurant, the other day. While she had a steak that was cooked to perfection, I ate a salmon filet that was heavenly. As for dessert, the lime pie was yummy --probably better than the ones in Key West! On top of that, the service was really good. Highly recommended!!More
