This brilliant and unknown chef is a must in Manuel António! Do not be discouraged by the exterior façade that looks like a publicity for a spa. The food you will be served is exquisite and not at all too expensive. There were 4 of us and any and all choices were wonderful and the service very nice.

Visited Issimo in mid afternoon when there was only one other customer. Although the servers were very nice, the service was incredibly slow - especially considering the restaurant was basically empty. Had one app, the surf and turf, two lemonades and a cappuccino... cost $107.00. Although the food was very good and view is great, dollar value isn't there.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food tastes great. However I'd recommend adding some more items on the menu. The portion was ok. I recommend increasing the portions a little bit especially given the price they offer the food for

After doing an escorted tour and having 'typical' food (ie what the Costa Ricans eat) it was wonderful to be able to order a meal that you could eat in a nice restaurant at home. Just be aware that the prices are very similar to what we pay in California. We ate in the hotel 2 nights out of the... More

The food here is prepared with excellence. Everything is fresh, the wait staff is very attentive, nprices are reasonable. We ate here several days because there were many things to try. I had stuffed tomatoes that were tasty. The grilled fresh fish was the best i ever had. Dont miss this great place to eat and stay too!

As part of a friend invitation on Christmas of 2009, I had the opportunity of being there to share the especial dinner planned for the evening with some other guest, just saw happy people and very friendly staff around even with the fast pace that the situation was demanding, and a tastefully and diverse food crown the event tru the... My wife and I were staying at the Parador Hotel and decided to walk down to Issimo / Gourmet Club Restaurant for lunch one day. The patio view of the Pacific was absolutely stunning-----like something out of a picture postcard. I ordered the lunch special which was grilled Mahi-Mahi in berry sauce and my wife ordered crab cakes. With just... More
