Food was really good. We had a problem with the rice being too hard. However, they took it back and replaced it with no problem. Nice place and unexpected from looking outside. Nice sunset too.

I had the steak and shrimp and really enjoyed dining at Mar Luna. Service was friendly and professional. Very relaxed atmosphere and amazing views of the ocean from the open air dining room especially at sunset.

My husband and I collectively ate shrimp, lobster and the mahi mahi with heart of palm sauce. It was among the most delicious and fresh tasting seafood we had while in Manuel Antonio, though a bit over our budget. Pura Vida!

Spent a lovely evening dining here, We enjoyed our delicious food. I had shpimp and pasta in a white sauce and would go back in a heartbeat.! City lights can be seen at night, very romantic with candlelight on tables. Great service.

I had the "chef's recommendation" on the tuna, which was a white wine / garlic sauce. The tuna was perfectly seared with a great sauce. Stumbled there by accident, but will go there on purpose next time!

Nice little place with a beautiful view. There were 11 in our group and the wait to get dinner was over an hour and the place was empty when we got there. They have happy hour between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. with two for one cocktails. I was able to order from the lunch menu since I was not... More

Well laid out large restaurant with fabulous view, good friendly efficient staff and good food. The Sopa de mariscos starter is very very good. The mixed seafood platter for two, 4 lobster tails, two red snapper, 4 giant prawns, was good, but for me was overcooked a bit, so the lobster tails were a bit dry and not juicy. $45,... More

We (family of five, three kids ages 13, 12 and 7) went here on the recommendation of an employee of our hotel. The dining area is on a terrace overlooking trees and the Pacific -- very lovely for sunset. We ordered the 2x1 happy-hour mojitos; the ingredients were fresh but the alcohol was untastable. We sent the drinks back to... More

My husband and I go to Mar y Luna every time we visit Manuel Antonio - sometimes more than once per trip because we LOVE their seafood and drinks. We usually have their seafood platter special for 2 which is typically a whole fried snapper with lobsters and shrimps. And we always enjoy their delicious food with a yummy margarita!
