We came here on several recommendations and we really enjoyed it. Food and drinks were delicious. it is supposed to be an amazing sunset view, unfortunately, it was pouring, but still worth going for the food.

We came here on the recommendation of our concierge and we were very pleased. It's a narrow, uphill unpaved road and at the top is this great restaurant. Go at 5pm or so so that you can see the amazing sunset. This was our fancy...meal out for 2 adults and 3 teens. Bring your camera phones or real cameras because you will love the pictures! We saw a couple get engaged as well...it's the perfect spot! The food was great. We all had a tasty meal, adults 3 drinks and all of us had dessert. $140. Get the flaming bananas--after dark. Just do it!More

Ronny’s is busy and with good reason! Friendly staff was happy to cook the fish we caught earlier in the day. Drinks taste better when served in a pineapple or coconut!!! Service was slow but that was expected as the place was packed. We didn’t...mind as we enjoyed our drinks and watched the wait staff perform some kind of burning alcohol dessert.More

Great place to watch the sunset with a nice drink and meal. I tried the ribeye steak that was well prepared and tender. Others had seafood which they said was good. The banana flambé is the special dessert and great production. Fun place for a...family meal.More

Ronny's place has great seaviews which makes it a very popular place during sunset. We were lucky to get a table without a reservation. The views are magnificent. However, the food does not rise to the same level. Some dishes (fish & steaks) were great,...but surprisingly the most simple dishes (hamburgers, fries) were below average. The view is well reflected in the price which is reasonable for some of the dishes and overpriced for others. All in all, it is a great tourist attraction but if you are coming for the food alone, you can get better value elsewhereMore

We came here after multiple recommendations from tour guides and locals in the area. We booked a reservation in advance as we were told it gets pretty busy. When we arrived we were seated immediately towards the balcony and there was an amazing view over...the cliff side of the sunset. The food was alright, nothing to go crazy about. The pina coladas were very good. The reason we decided on 3/5 stars was due to the service we received. Our server, Gabriel, could not figure out how to use the iPad to put orders in and we would watch him fumble at it for ten minutes at a time and then never come back to check on our table. At one point we asked for a dessert menu, and he didn’t come back until 30 minutes later after we asked another server for assistance. During that 30 minutes we watched him answer his phone, fumble with the iPad, and run between 2-3 back by the bar area but never come check on his tables near the balcony.More

We went here because we heard the view of the sunset was amazing. That is absolutely true! The food as just ok. My opinion may be skewed because we sat there for an hour with no wait staff attention. We finally ordered a beer and...never got it. Our appetizer never came. Finally we got our food after we had someone check on it. They advised there was a new POS system installed and I totally understand that. I do t like writing negative reviews and rarely ever do but even after the wait the food was just “ok.” That was disappointing.More

Located on a cliff over looking the Beach, this is the perfect place for drinks and dinner while watching the sun set into the Pacific. Service was excellent, the food was great and there is a wonderful vibe.

I am giving this restaurant five stars for a few reasons: Firstly, the views from the restaurant are absolutely breathtaking. You are overlooking a spectacular ocean with gorgeous lush hills full of vegetation, and we went during sunset which is quite the experience. Secondly, the...food is delicious. For the quality of food that one gets, along with very good mixed alcoholic beverages, the prices are pretty much a bargain. For four people, with four total alcoholic drinks ordered, two surf and turf dinners, a coconut shrimp dinner, a tortilla soup dinner, two ceviche appetizers, 4 desserts... all amazing... it was $200 with tax and 20% tip. One of us ordered a surf and turf that included lobster and sirloin steak. The other ordered shrimp and garlic sauce with sirloin steak. Both seafood dishes were delicious and the sirloin steaks were cooked perfectly. The garlic cream sauce was so good.I would say the only part that I was a little irritated by is that the shells were kept on the shrimp. This doesn't make a lot of sense to me when one puts a lot of sauce on the shrimp but you keep the shells on them. Still, that was the only thing that I didn't like about it. The coconut shrimp was very yummy and had an amazing mango sauce to go with it. The tomato tortilla soup was good. The mixed seafood ceviche appetizer was amazing with restaurant made tortilla chips. The desserts were so good. The kids got chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream, my spouse got the pumpkin and syrup with vanilla ice cream, and I got a banana wrapped in rice paper and surrounded by Nutella and vanilla ice cream. It was all delicious. The sangrias I ordered were so good as were the vodka coconut drinks my spouse ordered. Overall, if I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Amazing food and an amazing experience for the right price with great service. It doesn't get better than this… And again… The view!More
