A hidden gem! We followed the signs but still had to ask someone where it was. So glad we found it. Myself and 2 friends all ordered the Tico breakfast. Probably the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had! Everything was fresh, delicious and well priced....More

This is the most lovely place in Tortuguero, don‘t miss it! Everything is frech and homemade including the baguette and the almond croissants. The passion fruit smoothie was the best I had in Costa Rica after having about 25+ already.

This place is a real hidden gem next to the football pitch in Tortuguero. We shared a huge fruit salad to start which was beautifully presented, containing papaya, pineapple, banana and passion fruit. Then I had pancakes with homemade banana jam and homemade Nutella and...More

Me and my husband visited here on our first day. Around 3pm in the afternoon. There was only one baguette left so we opted for something different off the menu. We chose the Patacón burger thinking a burger would be involved (especially for the price)...More

Amazing low key place for breakfast and lunch. It’s a small place but the food is prepared in front of your nose.

Dear Ramon, Thank you very much for your review. That's true, all our dishes for breakfast and lunch are prepared in front of our customers. And people really appreciate it. We hope to see you again in our little Bistro. Sincerely, Céline and Diego

Their dedication is undeniable. Their fresh baked baguettes are amazing, as advertised. Worth a stop.

This is a small cafe owned by a Costa Rican and French couple. It was a bit hard to find--in the corner of a field a short walk from the main road--but it was totally worth it. I had a Croque Monsieur sandwich with a...More

Our Airbnb host recommended this “new” spot in the village and we had two amazing breakfasts and bought homemade jam. Wonderful couple running the bistro, talk to them if you can!

Slightly difficult to find but worth searching out in the grounds of Aracari hostel next to the football pitch. This is a relatively new place in the village which deserves to succeed. We went for a late lunch. Drinks were thirst quenching. I had a...More
