We didn't actually eat at this restaurant, we just stopped by the fish counter to take a fresh catch back to our grill at home. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for fresh seafood, as it literally came right off the boat. We...More

Open air restaurant on the rocks (literally). Fair priced food and excellent quality seafood. Their various kinds of ceviche are exquisite. Get the ceviche mixto if you're an adventurous eater. Had a number of dishes during my stay in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca and this...More

Best sopa de mariscos and the cheapest in town, the place doesn't have so much charm but once you eat that soup you just can't forget about it. Try also Pasta marisco en salsa blanca

Fish was fresh, but since this place came highly recommended, we expected more. The portions were generous and the price fair, but the food and ambience were just a little better than average.

Was recommended at the hotel we stayed. Basically wasted our only night dinner in puerto viejo there.

Our tour guide, Manual (of Gecko Trail), suggested we stop here for lunch. Puerto Viejo has quite a beach vibe to it and although Mopri isn't much to look at the food was very good, reasonably priced, and the wait staff very friendly.

The fish soup was amazing. It's cooked with coconut milk and curry. It was sooooo good. They also have salads and other fish dishes. This is a must stop when in Puerto Viejo.

We are staying in the area for a month and for some reason I was craving for pasta, our first pick was unfortunately closed so we ended up here as per recommendation by a couple we met during our travel. The restaurant is located on...More
