Big plates, delicious and well-prepared food. Great, professional and very open stuff. Highly recommended and must-to-visit restaurant :-)

Tamara should be in the Top 10 restaurants in Puerto Viejo. The food is really good, but the service could improve. Every time we visit Puerto Viejo we go to this place because their rice and beans is one of the best in town.

We went to Tamara 's twice in two days in Puerto Viejo. Food was delicious we ate typical rice and beans and the next time under strong recommendation of people from the town we tried Rondon (fish soup cooked with coconut), it was superb.

I had the meat platter which was delicious and there was something all of the family enjoyed. It had a lovely atmosphere and I definitely recommend it there is something for everyone.

I have eaten here with my family three times. The food is good but it is more expensive than other restaurants nearby. The tables are informal. The food is typical of the region: rice and beans, Caribbean chicken and seafood.
