We decided to go there because we liked the food there last year. But this time it was just aweful. We had to wait too long for our meals, we almost couldn't eat it and the price was inappropriate. Sad, but we don't think we'll come back until they change something!

Perhaps we caught them at a bad day, but we were the only people in the restaurant for lunch and the service was poor. The food itself was average. The bathroom was filthy and did not have any soap, towels, or toilet paper, which is unacceptable for any restaurant, remote or not.

We tried the salads and the pizza. It was expensive (8$/goat cheese salad) to get 4 leaves of lettuces, 5 paper thin slices of cucumber, and a tea spoon of goat cheese. No dressing at all but a do it yourself vinagre and oil bottle. The service was horribly slow. The waitress had got up on the wrong foot as... More

I had the Caribbean shrimp salad. The taste was fine, the service was genuine and kind. Unfortunately I had a dead bugg in my lettuce so I won't be going back. My husband had a veggie sandwich and I had a bite. It was good. To sum it up.. The food is okey considering the affordable prices. The downside is... More

Very small menu but very authentic and good quality. Makes their own bread and burger buns. The steak was tender and coming from Saskatchewan we know a good steak! Our son says the best burger in the area! Highly recommend.

I randomly stopped here on the way back to Limon from Manzilla. They had some really good Bob Marley music playing. The coffee was amazing, and I ordered a veggie pizza which was out of this world! Customer service was excellent. If i was staying in the area, I would be there all the time! Argentinean influenced menu!

This was a great little café/restaurant which was right next to our hotel. We had lunch there everyday for 5 days. The was basic but was of course great as the roadside places usually do have the best in country food. The head cook and waitress/proprietor were very friendly.

We stumbled across La casa del Pan at the beginning of our holiday whilst looking for somewhere to eat when staying nearby. Best pizza in Costa Rica so far! What a find! We liked it so much that we came back the next day for breakfast, we really enjoyed their selection of fresh bread and juice. The staff were all... More

The pizza at this place was SUPER good. Definitely the best in the area. It's also one of the few restaurants in proximity to the far end of Playa Cocles. Right across the street from the school, it makes for a great, relaxing spot for an afternoon coffee and snack. But really though... it's all about that pizza!

We stayed in a house just down the street and we were recommended to dine here by the house manager. This small cafe is located across from a soccer field in Cocles. The first experience we had was when we just needed coffee the first morning at the house. We walked down the street just to get a couple cups... More
