We had delicious sandwiches here for lunch and some really great fruit juice. Everything was fresh and delicious, would definitely recommend. They also have a large selection of chocolate truffles if you want for desert or as a souvenir to take home.

Good service, amaaaazing food. Not super cheap, but normal for Puerto Viejo prices. Great iced coffee and awesome desserts. Open really early too which was fabulous for a breakfast before my shuttle. My friend and I came here every day while we were in Puerto V.

And the chocolate is incredible! Truffles of all different flavors, great sandwiches -- probably the most "gourmet" you'll get in the area.

We biked up to Bread & Chocolate and was not disappointed! Everything was fresh and delicious. My fiancé had the egg sandwich with potatoes and I had the jerk chicken sandwich. I would also highly recommend the mango smoothie (with yogurt), ice cappuccino and hot chocolate! It is cash ONLY. So, make sure you have some colones or dollars on... More

Had a really enjoyable lunch here. Sandwiches were delicious and they was a good menu to choose from. Had some chocolates for dessert which were also delicious. Would of liked to have tried more of their desserts but was too full from the lunch
