By far our favorite place to eat lunch/dinner and grab drinks. Eddie is AMAZING, he definitely made the experience an A ++. You're never alone espcially with their resident cats Cala & Luna always casually walking around and howler monkeys everywhere.

The service was great, they helped me to create a nice environment in order to request engagement proposal to my girlfriend (Nice decoration in the room, champagne, cholocates, great dinner, spa and other things). The bartender Pablo was funny in our activity, talked to us and the service he gave us was excellent. That day in the Cala Luna hotel... More

We stayed at Cala Luna for a week and visited La Caletta many times during our trip. The drinks and tapas were excellent and prices were reasonable for a bar inside of a resort. The atmosphere was perfect, a little dark, quiet music, comfortable seating. Most evenings we were served by Esteban. He was attentive, very friendly, and made fantastic... More

You can sit at a table, relax on a couch or lounge by the pool without a care in the world. Have a tasty tropical drink (with or without alcohol) or a leisurely lunch and enjoy the company of resident hotel cats Cala and Luna. Have your camera ready because more likely than not howler monkeys will visit the trees... More

Nice setting, great service. Love Richard, who runs it in the afternoon/evening. The drinks were good and vibe is relaxed.

Food and drinks were great. The best part of the experience was the bartender, Richard. He did a great job with service, but went beyond with helping us with our limited Spanish. We stayed until he closed to just enjoy drinks and conversation. Excellent service.

Just a few minute from downtown tamarindo, great breakfast buffet, something for the entire family, kids loved the pastries, overlooking the pool, with monkeys in the trees most days, highly recommend cala Luna for boutique hotel/ bungalows, beach has great views, but not for swimming, few minute bike ride to tamarindo or langosta beach, few minute cab ride into tamarindo

We had a birthday dinner by the pool. The restaurant is located inside the hotel. There is a. Rey dramatic entrance after an adventurous drive down a partially paved pot hole ridden road. But, once inside it is very chic. The food was fantastic. The service was good. The chairs were comfortable.

Thank Mitch R
