Awesome and fast breakfast. Try the breakfast croissant. Also had the banana bread and coffee; both were great.

A huge selection of breakfasts available at competitive prices. Lots to choose from and so far everything we have tried has been great. They even have decaf here. The owners are super nice and friendly too. My fave is the huevos rancheros. Must try

This cafe came as a recommendation from a local and it was packed. Bought some coffee beans while I was there to bring home.

Can magic exist in a cup of coffee? Or a plate of food? The answer is yes! I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners and we chatted about my first experience with breakfast. Thank you for your time! This cute little cafe...is your answer if you are interested in healthy food/drink consumption. Everything is organic including the coffee. The prices are low and do not reflect tourist gouging prices the rest of tamarindo has to offer. It's a bit off the beaten path, yet still within walking distance from whatever direction you are coming from. I told her I would be coming back and I will. I wanted to write a review to make sure others know how amazing this place is! Do yourself a favor and spend your hard earned dollars, investing in your health. Your body will thank you and so will the staff. 😁More

Jeff, I remember you very well. You were early morning and got the fresh croissant. Unfortunately early morning next I had an horrible accident I was hospitalized for 2 days. Had to closed the café. Anyway, I want to say thank you for your wonderful...More

Place is a little off the main food areas so I assumed it wasn’t a tourist trap. I was wrong. Stopped in for breakfast. Had eggs, potatoes, toast and coffee. Good food. $16 before tip. Come on man. That’s more than I would have paid...in Los Angeles or as least as much. For lunch I stopped into a Soda on the way to Playas Grande. Big portions of chicken, rice, beans, fruit and a salad. $3.More

I don’t think you were at café tico for your description. So sorry for your experience but in our place we don’t have food at that price. Thank you

Great place to take in the sunset, while sipping a beer and eating delicious tapas mmmmm. There were no more tables outside but that didn't matter because they literally went inside to bring a table outside just for us!

Excellent food, tasted very fresh. Will be returning for our morning coffee's and some lunches while we are in Tamarindo. Located very close to the main street but away enough to be quiet and calm. Can't wait to try more of their menu!

Cafe Tico has not only the best coffee in Tamarindo, it has the best banana and papaya bread! This place is great, I had all my breakfast there. I tried the tipico, bacon breakfast sandwich and vegan burrito. They all were great, huge portions with...a exquisite local flavor, One morning I met the owner because besides cooking, she also likes to have an opinion about the food and the service. She seems to care a lot about this place and you can tell!! I will definitely come back next time.More

The Sunday Brunch was good...as advertised at $12 each. 2 people =$24. Then we added an orange juice with a little champagne in a champagne glass. We got a whopping bill of FORTY dollars before tip!! Then we were told their cost was 7,000 colonies...each that's $24.00 for two!! Give me a break!!! Really?? I advise people not go thereMore

Unsure as we stayed in a condo close to this cafe. JW is far outside the other side of Tamarindo. If they have a shuttle to Tamarindo every place is in walking distance once you're there
