We stumbled upon this fabulous sushi restaurant in the heart of Tamarindo! The sushi was fabulously fresh, the cocktails were refreshing and the atmosphere superb. If you love sushi, this is the place! Ask for Mao!

We pre booked to eat here on our last night in Tamarindo. The cocktails, as many others have mentioned were excellent and so was our initial welcome to the restaurant. We were helped a little with the menu and chose a selection of rolls, donburi and the tuna appetiser special between the four of us. I really want to rate... More

The portions of the roll were huge, definitely worth the price and good to share with others. It was delicious and satisfying. There is outdoor seating in a court yard type of area. They have Sapporo!

Ambience was great and the sushi was really good with nice size portions. Service was extremely slow. Could have been an off night but took about 25 minutes to get our drinks.

Great place for dinner. The portions are bigger than usual rolls, which is a plus! Two rolls may fill you up so keep it simple. Ask for the specials that may be off the menu! The staff is friendly and fast service.

This place has the best frozen mojitos and mouth watering sushi. The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and intimate.

Our group got a ton of food and it was all delicious. Their drinks are really good too! Even though it's more expensive than your typical Costa Rican restaurant the quality and taste make it worth it. And it's super cute inside!

I've been in this restaurant a few times and I've liked everything i tried, the basquet bamboo, the rice bowls and the tempura shrimp, etc... 100% recommended.

Went for take out - delicious sushi and tuna tataki. One of the few places in town that actually does not allow street vendors to coem in and try to sell to patrons - appreciated.

We stopped in for a sushi fix and they were able to accommodate 12 of us on a moment's notice mid-week. The service was a bit slow, possibly because she thought we were waiting for 2 people who ended up being very late. We tried the spicy Edamame which was very good, as well as the pork dumplings. The appetizer... More
