I have been here three times. Every time the food has been delicious. First time I ordered the beefsteak in tomato sauce. Tender and yummy and lots of it. Then I learned their specialty is seafood. Fish with garlic, oh my!! Or even better fish...More

Simple place a bit off the beaten track but well worth the effort to find it. Paella is their specialty and it really is superb - perfectly flavoured and very generously packed with seafood. The rest of the menu is basic Costa Rican fare, decent...More

Shrimp ceviche on fried plantains was the best in Samara. They were out of the fish otherwise we would've tried that too. Super low key place that a local recommended to us.

We went on the recommendation of the host of our Airbnb and were not disappointed! We ordered the paella for 4 and were impressed with the presentation and flavor of the dish. Would definitely return.

We came here for one thing only: the Cerviche (a fish dish). This restaurant was recommended by a friend, and they were right to tell us about it! The cerviche was excellent!!

I think the staff were ready to go home. We heard good vibes about the place and wanted our last meal to be a good one, but that wasn't to be. I had the feeling we weren't to stay long. So, we left. Too bad!

This restaurant has a different menu from last year. We heard the paella was good there, so stopped in to try it. It was one of the best we ever ate. The Paella for 2 cost $14,000 colons ( under $28). There was so much...More

Enjoyed our meal here very much. I ordered the lemon filet and when it came the sauce looked like something I wouldn't like but I was wrong. It was very good. OH ordered the daily special, tuna, with garlic and we both ate everything. Best...More

The ceviche was ridiculously good. Huge portion and served plantains that they smashed and fried to use instead of crackers. The only thing I didn't like was the wait but they food was so good it absolved them. Also, Costa Rican time, everything is just...More

This little soda has expanded considerably in the last three years. The family are great hosts, and the food is still amazing. This was our favourite place to eat on this most recent trip. We had the paella twice, and both times the seafood was...More

For ceviche, it all depends on your taste. I love the mixed seafood plate! The paella is also very nice. Again, depends on your taste.
