I had the Bob Marley which has cheese, cabbage & avocado. It was good but I feel like there wasn't much avocado. (Not surprised-avocado is expensive this time of year) it was a large burger and the fries were good too. Not really worth having again but I'll be back- next time I'll try a different burger. They have a... More

Walking by and saw A Taste of Texas and decided to stop in. Quaint little place with excellent food. The hamburgers were great, especially the fresh buns. Overall great stop for a quick meal.

I Had the pulled pork. The meat was dry. The BBQ sauce was vinegary and not good. Fries were okay. Place was a bit dirty. Confusing about how to order and pay, and association with nearby restaurants.

Awesome burgers. A little greasy but letter drip and munch down. It's a great burger at a great price. So so much better than the nuthouse coco place across the street.

We bought briskit and ribs here a couple of nights during our stay in nearby condos. Good food, with a special flavor. Note that the correct local phone number is 26700093. Ask for Lorenzo.

I have eaten several times here now with my family and the food has been great every time. They are very consistant in what they do. Would recommend!

We had eaten fresh seafood four days in a row. We were craving red meat. Then this group of 4 Texans walked into A Taste of Texas! The menu included pulled pork and brisket but all of us ordered burgers and we were impressed. The meat was moist, flavorful and cooked perfectly. Mine had a slice of grilled fresh pineapple... were out of ribs had one order and others had to order something else. food did not seem authentic. it was like sitting in a hallway surrounded by other restaurants and the entry to the place. slightly confusing the way the place was set up 2 other restaurants shared this area. which was not too big anyway.

You're not in Costa Rica to eat BBQ. That's exactly why my friend and I went to this place: we were hoping for some spin on BBQ that would be more than we ever could have imagined. Unfortunately this place serves sub-par BBQ made Texas-style. Skip it and go for the Costa Rican food and smoothies at El Rinconcito next... More
