You can expect fresh fish anywhere in Coco, sometimes you want simple. They have a nice selection of Casado's. I decided to order the grilled sea bass one time and was happy to say it was cooked properly and simply. A little sprinkle of Lizano sauce was just enough to make it heavenly. A cold cervesa and view of the... More

We had dinner at La Teresita and it was a very local spot and really great. Charming people run it. The Imperial Lite in a bottle is icy cold. My husband and son and I shared; 1. Casado with chuleta(Pork chop) which was well seasoned and perfectly cooked - served with rice and beans, really fresh coleslaw, fried plantains and... More

The five of us each ordered something different. All agreed it was ok but nothing to brag about or that we would return to.

Ate lunch here because several people recommended it as a great example of local Cost Rican food. We were not disappointed. We brought our own snapper, caught that morning. They were small so the cafe deep fried the fish and it was delicious.

We visited Coco Beach for 4 hours and ended up eating breakfast and lunch here. Both were fantastic and we watched them bring in the fresh fish during breakfast. The owner told us we could return at lunch for it. It did not disappoint. If you are looking for local, authentic food try Soda La Teresita!

This place was our very first encounter with Costa Rican food, as recommended by our friendly tour guide. We were quite pleased with our visit. The food was a traditional breakfast, eaten outside overlooking the Pacific Ocean. What a wonderful experience! Staff was friendly and very attentive. I had the chance to meet with the staff and find out more... More
