The restaurant serves excellent steak. I got the 1/2 kilo lomito, and it was delicious, seasoned with just salt and cooked to medium well (mediano cocinado). While the lomito was a tad chewy, the flavor was excellent and the meat tasted corn fed. The steak is excellent and the pricing is fare. The other food offerings are ok, but typical. Come here for meat. One of our diners had the chicken and it was below average. BUT the steak and the meat choices were getting rave reviews throughout the restaurant! Good and friendly service, little English!

The service was excellent, our waitress was attentive. The food was attractively served. Large portions of the food and wine. Easy to locate, right on the square.

Whenever we are in San Carlos we always eat at Coca Loca. It's right on the square across from the Cathedral in the middle of Ciudad Quesada. Filet Mignon is superb and service is wonderful. Just looks like a store front, but worth visiting -- definitely! And really great on your pocketbook.
