There were 9 of us hardly anyone had anything delicious. Everything was okay, if you like good food, not for you! Go to Snapper's House or almost any other place. La Fortuna has a fair number of good restaurants!

Visited Ceviche del Rey after a day of hiking in the Arenal area, and it was just what we needed. We were a little anxious since we were the only ones in the big restaurant, but the food was very good, nice beers, and the service was perfect and friendly. Can only recommend this place.

We stopped in for a light meal between hiking locations. Loved the octopus and shrimp ceviche. Service was friendly, waiter spoke good English. Great open air dining space.

We had dinner at Cevice del Rey because we wanted Peruvian food. It was an awful experience. The place is nicely furnished and looks like it would be a good place to eat. But. Food took a long long time to come to the table, and the place only had a few tables being served. I ordered a steak, medium... More

Peruvian cuisine is our favorite, and this restaurant was as good as it gets outside Peru. Fresh, homemade and in an authentic traditional style.

I had dinner here once. It is an open air place as the photo shows. The food was good, service great.

Typical food dishes served with large servings. I had a steak cut that was very tough. Some others in the party had other steak cuts that were a little better. Service was good.

Usually I will not go to a restaurant while on vacation without consulting Trip Advisor. I did not do that this time, and I paid the price for it. Literally. The service, food and setting were all fine. But we paid more than $100 for two shrimp dishes and two beers. We could have gotten the same meal at Nene's... More

We have a family of 5, 3 kids aged 5, 9, and 11 all able to find something off the main menu without having to get the kids menu. They also have a kids menu with the typical hamburger or chicken fingers, but the kids ordered (and liked) the main food. My daughter in particular loved the Lomito saltado, steak... More
