Enjoyable meal. My wife and I split the beef cascade, outstanding. I loved the tortilla soup. Live music was a plus. Overall enjoyable meal.

We had wonderful service and food. The table side guacamole was amazing. The wine list was good. The steaks were delicious. It was a nice change from the ‘typical ‘ food.

Amazing breakfast, everyday. Everything you could possible want! Huevos rancheros were outstanding!! Service impeccable. Surroundings enjoyable! You must try the green juice!!

Altamira is a solid Costa Rican meal. The food was fresh and the service was friendly. It's likely one of the best restaurants at Nayara for a group or for kids. The live music was a nice touch - as was the tableside guacamole.

We are staying in the resort for 6 nights , we find this restaurent to be very pleasant with wonderful staff , attentive , caring and some super over the top . Open space . Buffet breakfast , plenty of options , from fresh papaya...and pineapple ( so good ) , to egg and juice station . Lunch menu is simple , the kid spaghetti bolongese is big enough for adult and tasty , the grilled red snapper is crispy and not over cook . The dinner is superb , music is exceptional ,relaxing music , not loud , different musician nightly . The heart of palm salad , the tuna tartar both exceptional . The Spanish bollubaise tasty and full of goodies . The beef is organic grass fed local cow, the filet is tender and juicy , the ribeye is chewy and tasty , coconut rice also exceptional. . We went to the seafood grill with our family and friends. We found that the flavors were lacking and the selection was not all that good. Our friends had eaten there in the past and raved about the meal there. They were disappointed at the...choices that were available and the increase in the price. Also it is an all you can eat grill and we had a reservation for 8pm and there was very little food left. We would not go again. One side note the wait staff were excellent. We make better seafood at home...More

Stayed at the Nayara hotel and ate on two of the nights and had excellent meals on both occasions, including one evening which was a buffet. We had breakfast here as well and it was also excellent. The service and the staff were all excellent...and so friendly it was a realm pleasure.
