My husband and I ate here after leaving La Fortuna waterfall. We had ordered casados at multiple restaurants in La Fortuna but this was the best one! The food was amazing. We had the ceviche as well and it was perfect.
Wanted to try some Costa Rican traditional food and this place surpassed all expectations. Food was incredible, really flavoursome and well presented. Good craft beer selection too. We were served by Román who was very friendly and excellently attentive. Would go back tomorrow if we...had the chance.More
We had an absolutely amazing dinner at Tiquicia. The food was fresh, full of flavour and authentic Costa Rican cuisine. Román, our waiter, was incredibly attentive and his timing was excellent.
Don’t let the location put you off- it really isn’t far from the city...centre and is well worth the journey!More
We had the best experience tonight. Our server, Romano, was impeccable. He recommended multiple items, all of which were delicious. I highly recommend the ceviche for a starter. For drinks, we each had a tica margarita, which comes with an imperial light in it. They...were exceptional and way more than we bargained for. The drinks lasted us all evening, when we would’ve normally ordered three drinks in one night. I had the ribeye, which was exceptional. It was cooked medium rare and to perfection. My husband had the puntas de solomo which he said was one of the best dishes he’s had since we’ve been in Costa Rica. If you find yourself in the La Fortuna area, I cannot recommend Tiquicia enough! Romano will treat you so well that it will not disappoint.More
Tiquicia had great food, open air ambiance, and excellent service and drinks. Alonso answered all of our questions and was very attentive. I would certainly go again if we stayed longer. Covid precautions made us feel very safe! Safer than in the US!
This restaurant has fantastic food and great service. Alonso took great care of us and made us feel very welcome. We had the fajitas mixtas and hamburger and both are very good. The vanilla ice cream with caramel and pour over coffee was the perfect...way to finish our meal. 5 stars all around.More
We have visited many different restaurants in Costa Rica and this is one of our favorites! We actually had to go back the second time we visited La Fortuna. It was our classiest, tastiest, and cheapest meal! Great service also!
Our family recently visited La Fortuna and found this restaurant. All 6 of us had different menu items and everyone LOVED the authentic Costa Rican food. The Tico and Pineapple Margarita's were excellent as well. Alonso was our server and he did a fantastic job...taking care of us and making recommendations. We loved our experience so much that we returned again the next day. We ate at two other restaurants in the area that were just okay. Tiquicia Restaurant is the one! A quiet gem in the La Fortuna area!More
