It is open air like most of the restaurants. It is quick, reasonably priced and right next to the supermarket so if you want to indulge in an adult beverage you can bring your own from the market

Found this place by chance. This restaurant is small, but we got a table. It is frequented by both locals and tourists. The food is primarily Costa Rican style, but they do have a few other options. The food came out fairly quickly, and the price was just right. We paid $16 for 4 of us. Definitely stop here for... More

Our driver (Diego) was taking us from San Jose to La Fortuna, so we asked him where he went to eat so we could get some authentic Costa Rican food. He proceeded to take us off the beaten path and pulled into what appeared to be an alley which happened to be the parking lot for this restaurant. We were... More

Went for breakfast with the wife and it was 9 bucks out the door, which is hard to find around here. I would have eaten here a lot more if I had found it sooner

Recommended this place for lunch by a local. This is where locals go for lunch. The Costa Rican "Cosada". $9 US Dollars for the wife and I to get a filling lunch, soda, and lemonade. PERFECT!

Had this place recommended, and it didn't disappoint. Very friendly staff, good decent food at very reasonable prices. I was there for breakfast.

This is by far the best value soda in La Fortuna. We ate there daily and found the quality to be consistently good and the price as low as you will find. La Hormiga is easy to find.... adjacent to the bus stand.

If you want to try good typical Costa Rica for a very good price this is the place. The Casado is a typical Costa Rican meal with different meat options. A reasonable price with very good service. They do close early, at 4:00pm.

We ate here for lunch. We ordered the Casado con Chuleta( pork chop) and a fruit beverage. The plate was filled with rice, black beans, a homemade salsa, fried plantains, salad and 2 thin pork chops. The pork was very moist as well as very favorable. They are only open for breakfast and lunch which was unfortunate for us since... More

It's hard to find places in the area that don't charge and arm and a leg for an average meal. Not only is this very well priced, the food also taste pretty good. It's traditions Costa Rica Food. It may not look super fancy (No offence) but if you look past that I can promise you a good meal! Within... More
