wonderful food and excellent service . Be sure to get a window seat or dine outdoors and watch the river roll by. Better yet spend the day on the Black Warrior river and tie off at their dock for lunch or dinner.

Cypress Inn is a local favorite of mine. However, my most recent experience was disappointing. The famous muffins were flat and not decent to eat. Thinking we must have had a fluke, we asked for another basket. We were quite disappointed in them as well....More

Lovely view by the river, pleasant staff. We got great service, but our chicken was dry. The squash casserole was good, the bread was scrumptious. If the main entree had been nice and moist, I would give it a 5. This was our first time...More

The staff was friendly and the food was typical southern fare. Nothing outstanding but nothing disappointing either. Looking out of the river was cool so the location was the star. Why is it that places with great locations can't also stand out with their food?

The venue is very nice located on the river with beautiful views. Plenty of parking and the waiting area for a table is large, which also encompasses a deck for waiting. The bar area is really cool and nice... The inside offers a full wall...More
