Our family and a friend recently enjoyed breakfast at this yummy coffee shop and bakery. Bacon, egg & cheese croissants, ham & cheese croissants, apple danish, chocolate almond croissant, and apple cinnamon and cinnamon chip scones - we all loved everything we ordered and shared. The hot cocoa and mocha lattes were also delicious. We plan to return on our... More

I LOVE their potato soup. I think I have ordered if for lunch about 6 times in the last 3 weeks (I only work 3 days a week). And the danishes are fantastic!

We stopped in for an out of the way game day breakfast. Not crowded at 0830. Coffee was ok. There is one free refill for regular coffee. We shared the Adonis. It was a bacon, ham, egg and cheese sandwich severed on a delightful pretzel roll. It was excellent. We also shared a chocolate croissant and a blueberry Danish. The Danish... More

I wasn't impressed. Coffee was expensive, lukewarm and you had to pay for a refill. Pastries are ok. Tables wobbly. Not my favorite place.

Edelweiss is a small, homey, local shop that adds charm to Tuscaloosa's downtown. It is the only bakery that I patronize when I don't have time to bake my own bread; and on those rare occasions when I indulge in a muffin or dessert away from home, Edelweiss is my first choice. I enjoy taking visitors to Edelweiss for breakfast,... More

This is a great place for coffee and baked goods. Try one of everything and take some things to go. One of the best places in Tuscaloosa.

Edelweiss is an occasional Saturday indulgence. It never disappoints. The bratwurst, paninis, and pastries are among our favorite choices. Sitting outside with coffee and people watching is fun when the weather is cooperative.

After reviewing some reviews. My wife and I decided to check it out. Store was very clean and organizes. By the pictures I've seen online. I was looking for bigger glass case which could show off their products. But that didn't stop me buying some thing to eat and take out for later. Over all, the service was good and... More

Excellent, quaint and homey feel. The food is freshly made. We went there for the baked goods and I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly and efficient and it seemed like most people knew each other so that was nice to know that people like going there over and over.
