I had a summer cold, not feeling the best, so decided to order only gumbo. The others ordered their special which was red... More

We had a group of guys together for a class in the area and the instructor suggested we might like lunch at the Pelican Reef restaurant. The guys ordered fish tacos, Mahi melt and I had blackened shrimp tacos. It was all good. No sides with tacos, but it was plenty for me. The service was really pretty good. I... More

The buffet offered meatloaf and a few other things, so we ordered the fried shrimp plate and the fried seafood platter. We were hoping for more options other than just fried seafood (such as blackened or grilled), but if you are in the mood for... More

Some of the best food I've ever eaten. The food is fresh well prepared and properly served. The dacor is fitting for the area and a beautiful view of the river.

New to the area three of us walked in and were told there was no table with a water view, we did notice all but one was full, but there was an outside area, the reason we know this because the next three sets of people coming in were offered outside on the patio seating to be on the water.... A group of 30 of us were on a day trip from Fort Morgan, AL to Dalphin Island when our driver kept going when we got off the Ferry to this great little restaurant and then we came back to Dalphin Island. The feature of the day was a seafood buffet for under $10. What a great find. The food... More

We were traveling & detoured to check out Dauphin Island for future vacation rental and found this restaurant on the way home. It sits directly on the bay, nothing fancy but good service and good food. I would love to get their cole slaw recipe as that is the only time my husband would eat it :) Both the shrimp... More
