I stayed for a business lunch at LIN YI. The food was good, a nice place with many international guests. Service need to improve especially language skills. I think i will come back and check another time.

We were 8 and had a great assortment of main dishes to share. There were decent selections for vegetarians. Favorite dish may have been the chicken in a huge bowl of dry red peppers. Beautiful presentation.

I'm very satisfied with the 88 rmb AYCE dim-sum brunch. Foods were very delicious and authentic. Service was very responsive.

This is a really reliable Shanghaiese restaurant. The food is great, service not so good but ambience makes up for it. The eggs with caviar are special. Can be chilly with the ferocious aircon

We booked a table for the 88 RMB sunday brunch. It was excellent value with a good selection of dim sum to choose from (we enjoyed the pork puff and the mango pudding). The location is excellent (just off of West Nanjing Rd) in a wonderful clean, modern room and the service was quick and friendly. I have paid around... More

Have now eaten here on at least 5 occasions and enjoyed every one. Brunch at the weekend is particularly nice and good value - but you will need to call in advance to reserve a table.

I was back in this restaurant after a couple of years. As in the previous experience it was very good. Although I am not fond of the chinese cuisine, I must say that when I am in Shanghai and am invited to go to Lynn, I appreciate the dinner. Furthermore the waiters are polite and supportive. Let me say that... More

Staying in Jing'an

Neighbourhood Profile
The heart of this neighborhood is the Jing'an Temple, while the main artery of excitement and entertainment is West Nanjing Road. Close to the Former French Concession, the area has a similar draw for foreign residents but displays a more commercial character. Large, flashy malls, luxe residential high-rises and trendy nightlife areas can be found along West Nanjing Road, but areas off the busy street have the same quiet cafes and independent boutiques that many people think of as distinctive of the Former French Concession. Jing'an is less encased in amber, though, and it's possible to immerse yourself more fully in the energy of China's most bustling metropolis here.
