Upon entering this Canadian-based eatery, I was greeted with a warm welcome and some hot roast beef to sample. It was "out of this world". I quickly ordered a beer and a large roast beef sandwich and literally said nothing as I sat back and...More
We love our Reuben's, having eaten at Katz in NYC a couple of times its pretty hard to believe we would find a good Reuben's in Shanghai but we managed to find one at Tocks. While it may not be Katz it still tasted great....More

Thanks for your thoughtful comments, Julien S. They mean a lot to us at Tock's, because you're right, the "family feud" was stressful. But fortunately our customers recognize that the Tock's menu has been completely rebuilt to the high standards set at the restaurant's opening,...More

Thanks Gerald L. Glad you liked Tock's smoked meats. Next time, definitely have a BIG sandwich (and fries/poutine), plus one of our tasty craft beers. Nothing better.

Thanks for your review, R R. Yeah, the authorities made us take down our round red streetside sign that made Tock's relatively easy to find (new regulations about signage). But, as they say, "It's easy once you know where it is." Print this out and...More
