With my 40years+ Indian experience, I can 100% confirm the Resturant is not good representation of Indian Resturant, why; - the food served is frozen and then heated to serve as hot "fresh" food - this is an Indian Resturant with a "pole" for pole dancing... not really Indian!! - the bathroom to my surprise had a picture, offensive enough... I had taken my Chinese colleagues to Delhi Darbar in Shanghai by just seeing the "Delhi Darbar" name! It was very much unlike any other Delhi Darbar restaurant elsewhere in the globe! They don't know how to make papri chaat even. And, what they served as Tandoori Chicken was the least delicious one I ever had. They were of course... More

Had some business nearby and went to Laowei Lu near Hongmei Lu for a quick lunch. Restaurant is big and manager is Indian, however, rest of staff was Chinese. Food quality was just ok and nothing special.

I didn't really like the taste and didn't seem like value for money. I liked adjacent Chinese restaurants better.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Shanghai. Would love to go to this place on weekends, you would definitely get the same taste of Indian food here. All the chefs and service people are from Indians, so you can even customize the food if required, though I loved the original taste of the food

I will not recommend this restaurant even to Chinese people forget about any Indian people. They are cheaters and food is extremely bad in taste. Do check your bills before leaving incase you visit. ZERO RECOMMENDATION. It is black spot in the name of Indian Restaruant.

A good place for Indian food in Shanghai. Good variety. Fresh n tasty. Good service. Prices are reasonable. This place is has an ambience that is very different from typical Indian restaurants outside India. Multiple screens show various sports events, in the evenings we have live western music, seating is casual. The feeling is that of a pub, sports bar... More
