Absolutely perfect atmosphere right on the water. Cool design with former storage containers. Unfortunately neutralized by the passive service of staff and intrusive heavy-metal music being played through the sound system.

We stopped for lunch & had a delicious lunch - I loved the chicken salad sandwich & my husband had a burger. The French fries are delicious. A nice beach atmosphere that makes you feel like you are on the beach!

Great outdoor atmosphere with picnic tables, couches, rocking chairs and various other seating on the 'beach'. Friendly service and great food. This is not a 5 star but it is an amazing casual meal where you can comfortably spend some time with your dining companions.

I'd read about how food was obtained before going - but wasn't prepared for rude customers. First line was for drinks (long line to 2 bartenders) and I was stunned when the lady behind me jumped ahead of me like it was no big deal. When the guy behind her tried too I called him out (thankfully the bartender saw... More

It will be hard not to go back tomorrow for lunch! Wonderful setting and the fried grouper sandwich was probably the best sandwich I've ever had. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for.

Unique place on the water. Good food and service. Interesting gift store. Menu changes daily. Grilled shrimp and mahi tacos were excellent.

We ate here because of the good reviews on tripadvisor, however I wasn't thrilled. We ordered on one side of the restaurant and didn't know they had another side with different options. The tacos were good but not great. I thought it was a bit on the pricy side.

OMG!!! One of the best places in the area. Get the Gulf Burger, fries and yes get the salad (dressing great). This place has the best atmosphere. Just relax and chill. We came 3 times in one week!

The food at The Gulf is good, but the outdoor area is the best on the Gulf coast. There are outside tables, couches, chairs around firepits, and a view of a pass into Perdido Bay that is spectacular.

The menu was very limited -a couple of options written on a blackboard - but tasty. I had a grilled ubiquitous white fish but it came with a great large cucumber/tomato salad. My guest had a tuna dish that was good too. The beer selection is limited. The weather was great and it's right on the gulf. You basically serve... More
