The Gulf has it all, good food, friendly service and a beautiful atmosphere. We will keep coming back when we visit Orange Beach.

We were visiting in-laws in nearby Gulf Shores and they took us here. The "building" is nicely stacked and painted shipping containers. They are basically a shell to cover a full bar and short order grill. The rest of the site has large picnic style wood tables and outdoor furniture seating areas. They overlook a bay area that includes the... More

You just can't beat the Gulf for a great lunch. Epic environment (best view on the beach), great service & staff, and the food .. holey smokes. And the gift shop is full of fun & unique items you're not going to see anywhere else! From jewelry to dog toys to chandeliers to baby booties .. this small shop has... More

Good food with a great location. Try the crab cakes, some of the best on the coast.Bring a jacket during the cold nights. Its worth it.

The Gulf is a unique venue with great gulf front views but the food is really bad and over priced. Orders are placed at a single window and the line was very long the day we were there. It took 30 minutes just to get the order placed. Then the servers go searching across a 1/4 acre of tables spread... More

My wife and I dropped in out of curiosity and loved it. Built from stacked shipping containers it has little curb appeal from the highway but when you get to the beach side, WOW! A long line to order food on a Saturday lunch but well worth the wait! We had tuna tare tare as an appetizer which was fantastic... More

Great family dinner. Cobia, grouper, burger were eaten. Kids had the grilled cheese. Lots of room for kids to run around.

My wife and I were vacationing in the area and decided to try this place for lunch as it was a beautiful day. You walk up to the counter to order. Service was good, food was good, setting was beautiful.

Stopped in for a quick drink at the bar and to pick up some to go orders. The bar is well stocked with excellent service. The is not too large with a good variety from fried and grilled seafood to excellent soup with a delicious grilled cheese. The prices are reasonable for a beachside restaurant. The portions are not too... More

The Gulf was a truly interesting and fun experience. The atmosphere is intriguing as string lighting, decorated picnic tables in the sand, and on the upper level under canopy, on concrete, right on the gulf. Beautiful sunsets in the evenings. I had the very best burger I've ever had in a restaurant. The salad dressing was great as well. During... More
