Our trip was 15days in all Malaysia. In this restaurant there are the best and traditional food of the country. The restaurant is little and humild but food is very tasty. Love it. I will repeat if i come to Malaysia.

The food is very salty especially the fried kangkung. The ayam ponteh is not bad. The fish also very salty. The otah to us is like tasteless. The kuih served is not bad.

Just had THE MOST AMAZING LUNCH with husband in Melaka's Chinatown. I had prawns with pineapple in spicy coconut sauce. Husband had Chicken chilli garam. We shared some water spinach with belacan and a portion of rice. Drinks were fresh lime and lime with barley. Food was absolutely delicious!!! Would not hesitate to go back. Service was speedy and friendly.... More

It's a very low-key eatery-type of a restaurant but don't let this fool you. The dishes we had were hearty and delicious - special mention goes to the 'spring roll' prawn curry, they were outstanding. The restaurant is great value and gives you the experience of dining in someone else's home.

We enjoyed a later dinner at Kocik Kitchen, early February, after arriving at our nearby hotel from KL. The restaurant was busy but closed fairly early, around 9pm,.so we ended up being the last to leave. The service was fairly prompt but friendly as a result. We ordered the kapitan chicken, Nyonya mee goreng and kanpung fried rice, which were... More

Had a great lunch here. Some kind of yellow soupy dish with lots of veg and some prawns. Very tasty!

Been there for lunch. Order 5 peranakan dishes and all turned out to be lousy. Either the vege is overcooked or is tasteless. Although is cheap but do not bother to try it if you are looking for quality peranakan food. The Nancy's kitchen will be a much better choice.

A small restaurant that serves solid and simple local food. Service depends a bit on the daily mood but so far always effective. Dishes are of reasonable size and prices are fair. There are probably more refined peranakan restaurants but for a meal around overcrowded Jonker area one of the better choices. Authentic old building. Almost like eating at home.

This place is located in Jonker street. Good to try their signature food. If you eat Chicken rice, then it is the same.. the difference is the rice is like a "ball" shape..

Dinner was very average. Had the buah keluah chicken, sambal sotong, chap cae, otak/ngoh hiang and chendol. Food was average and was cold when served. Chendol was normal, and was served before food probably because they were closing. The waitress taking orders bother to give recommendations and seek feedback. Not the best but okay place.
