The chicken rice balls are just perfect with its chilli sauce! However, be prepared to queue between 10 minutes and 1 hour.

Located right next to Hard Rock Cafe and right opposite H&M. DEFINITELY the best Chicken rice ball in town, without any doubt. Be prepared to queue for at least 15 minutes! It is definitely worth the wait!

This is a little Gem at the corner of a rundown building. Right next to Hardrock Cafe and the roundabout. It opens in the morning around 10 and closes after lunch. It is the best Chicken rice ball in town, without any doubt. Chicken so smooth and tasty, I'm sure you'll eat too much. The rice balls are just perfect... More

This is our go-to restaurant every time we are in Melaka. In fact, this was our first stop. Not much has changed since we were here last tho (many years ago). For 4 adults, we shared a whole chicken and had a plate of (5 ping-pong ball sized) rice balls each. We still had plenty of room to spare for... More

The chicken is the tougher Kampung Chicken. The half chicken portion is tasty, succulent and warm. The rice balls are flavorful and moist. You can order a glass of refreshing limeade. Freshly made rice ball and succulent chicken are the reason to visit this shop. Open at 8AM only for breakfast and lunch. Queue started as early as 8AM. To... More

Throngs of hungry diners visit this famous chicken rice shop because of its mouthwatering kampong chicken and tasty rice balls. Chicken meat is tender and consists less fat due to its natural kampong breed. The meat is evenly slathered with lots of ginger, fragrant sesame oil. Go perfectly well with the home-made spicy chilli mix. Simple preparation and yet you... More

Honestly, the hainan chicken can be found elsewhere around Malaysia or even Singapore and what makes it a tourist attraction was mainly the "rice ball" only. You can actually DIY yourself for the rice ball. Definitely not worth the long queue for a normal hainan chicken rice with overrated homemade rice ball. (RM0.40 per rice ball and it's only come... I remembered it being a memorable meal when I came here in 2009. However, this time round, we found the rice too soggy and chicken was alright and like what most patrons said, the food were generally served not hot. We didn't have to wait too long (15 min) since we arrived before 12pm, but if the queue had been... More
