Visiting Huntsville looking at homes. Good TripAdvisor reviews lured us here for lunch on a Tuesday around 12:30pm. Gumbo was OK but not great; lots of rice filling the bowl but adequate shrimp. My wife and I shared the fried Grouper PoBoy. Fish was soft,...More

Super tasty entrees and sides. Good coleslaw and salads. I avoid the spicy new potatoes but know they are wonderful, just too hot for me. The fried entrees are good as are the grilled and blackened. My only complaint is the servings are quite small...More

My wife and I ate here last night. We love New Orleans and saw the ratings were high on here so we checked it out. The establishment looks like a building in New Orleans and is not pretty, but fits the theme for sure. The...More

I must say this place was average for what we normally get as far as food and service; however, the fried pickles were a hit! The Cajun fries that came with the fried pickles were pretty good and different. I had the fried crawfish tails...More

Had dinner here one night while I was in Huntsville. A quaint place, all the staff was extremely friendly, I felt very welcome here. Many regulars were dining that night, a real down-home local place. I love finding these kind of places when I travel,...More

I have eaten here often. It is great food and perfect for lunch with coworkers. Not a fancy place but the food is better than expensive fancy restaurants.

So, this may not be your true taste NOLA fare, but being in North Alabama, it's the BEST! Everything on the menu, I love! One of my faves is the blackened mahi mahi po boy. Get the Cajun fries and dip them heavily in that...More

YUM! It's not fancy and always crowded. I think it's the best fish and seafood in Huntsville. If you're turned off by paper plates and plastic forks, pass this place, for excellent fresh seafood go. The menu is limited, so don't go looking for fancy...More

There were 5 in our party and we had a brief wait for a table for lunch. The menu is rather large and varied with an emphasis on New Orleans type food. I had the triple bowls, which were jambalaya, etouffee and gumbo (red beans...More

Sorry about your experience. Nothing worse than wasting money on a bad meal. My crab cake was good, but THIN as I noted in my earlier review. My shrimp was very good.

I am sure they would appreciate it if you had a large party but I don't think they do otherwise .
