Had the opportunity to eat lunch outside on the 10th of December. We were greeted promptly and friendly. We chose to eat outside and a young man lite a heater for us just in case we got a chill. Our server was very friendly and...answered all our questions with a smile. Each of us ordered a burger. I highly recommend the Cowboy burger and fries. Not really sure what they do to the fries but just about the best fries ever. If you ever find yourself in Guntersville you can't go wrong by having a meal at Rock House.More

Whenever asked where to eat lunch in Guntersville, AL, we always say The Rock House. We have never been disappointed with the food. I love the pimento cheese BLT with fries.

Wow! I mean if customer service has been missing from your dining experiences, this is the place for you. So attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. We ate at lunch and although the restaurant closes at 2 and reopens for dinner there was no rush...to get us out the door. I hope this is their standard. Food was creative and yummy. I had the special cuban with a salad of blue cheese and what had to have been a home made vinaigrette. Ive never had a cuban but now they better be as delicious as this one. I ordered a bloody mary which was yummy with crunchy accoutrements and their own little dish to move them out of the way, who does that?? Went to Amsterdam Sunday the 16th, their bloody Mary couldnt compare!More

Went here to have lunch with friends. We were seated right away. Wait staff was friendly, helpful, and nice. The food arrived hot, well presented and smelled wonderful. The food is the star here. Each of the members of my party had a great meal...and we will definitely be back when in the area. Can't go wrong with a visit the Rock House.More

We took our church group here. The staff were exceptionally accommodating and did a fabulous job serving everyone quickly and personally. We had the steak sandwich and the tuna salad and were very pleased. Wonderful food as well as service

My husband and I had an afternoon to ourselves and always enjoy The Rock House. Moderately priced, amazing food and service. Adult beverages available. 😉

We were very excited after reading the reviews to visit and enjoy the food. However, we were disappointed in every aspect. The biscuits were not fresh and were obviously frozen and reheated. The gouda grits were so cold the cheese would not melt. The lettuce...was soggy and the croissant fell apart less than halfway through the sandwich. All of this was almost considered good when compared to the pizza. We were only seated for 10 minutes and the "freshly made" pizza was already at our table. The pizza tasted about as fresh as a Red Barron pizza that I buy at the grocery store. The dough was hard and the center of the obviously frozen and reheated pizza was barely warm. We arrived before the crowds so there was no reason why our food should not have been hot and freshly cooked instead of warming food that had been previously cooked. Disappointed would be the nicest thing to say about our experience. We will not be returning.More

Nice place. Fun atmosphere o a Sunday at lunch. Had the “regular “ Bloody Mary which had a big celery stalk, a piece of bacon, cucumber, lime, a big dill pickle slice, olive and pickled okra. Are the sampler plate and it was also very...good.More

You would definitely have to call in advance because they would either have to give you the entire patio or the entire inside to seat that many people. The restaurant is an old house so seating is in several rooms. Tables... More
