Went for a dinner, small restaurant - was full of surprises. With my first time experience of having bengali food, staff recommended the dishes - something made of bhetki fish & banana flower(I think it is mochar ghonto), Wow!!!. I loved it. Not a place to be missed.
What a Food Experience in Kolkata...@Bhojohari Manna but sorry to state being such a beautiful chain of restaurant my first experience with Bhojohari Manna was bad...Powai...But in Kolkata extremely 360 degree change in opinion...Had Rui Macher Boda; Daab Chingri...Was mesmerised with the taste of food also mocchar paturi....last but the most important - Nolen Gurer Icecream.
We have family outing , we thought of Bengali food . We went to bhojohori. We all order for fish fry and vegetable cutlet . When the main course we are ordering specilly lucchi they don't have lucchi but it's there in menu , because of lucchi we left and gone to 16 balligunj Place . Starter was good .
Had to visit it because of all the raving reviews I had received.... A good spread but I found the food a bit overrated and the portions too small.

Had the company of a Parsi friend being introduced to Bong food. He loved the experience. Tell them your preference and leave self in the safe hands of the waiters to mesmerize you. Go... More
