The place is ridiculously good! The coffee is fantabulous, especially Cappuccino. The Baked Cheescake is a must! The Brownies are also really good. The ambience is pretty good and the staff is very cordial. All in all, a wonderful place!!

Western style espresso coffee. REALLY good brownies. A fun place to hang out for twenty minutes or an hour. Service can either be really good or weirdly slow. They also have wifi.

Make sure to stop here for a cup of coffee. We came once and ended up coming back 2-3 more times. Coffee was great, service very friendly, atmosphere very chill and relaxing. Great spot! Also check out the shop across the hall that sells mountaineering...gear. We bought long underwear to assist with the cool weather! Great spot.More

In the morning, ditch the keventers breakfast fad and head over to this spot. They serve some kick ass breakfast, offer a brilliant ambience and the music is top notch.

We visited at end of a tiring touristic day to have a good coffee and we had indeed. We tried an excellent piece of carrot cake and some omlette and potato fries. The tastes are as they should be. The place was on the first...floor reachable with a bit steep stairs but inside was all cozy, clean, present with smiling staff and a fast kitchen. All in all, must visit for an hour or so. Honestly food wise, this place is better than overrated Keventers and very crowded Glennary.More

Branch of the Nepal cafe chain, serving up good organic coffee and desserts, plus breakfast pancakes, waffles and sandwiches (snacks and light dishes ₹100 to ₹250), in a stylish semi-industrial interior – all very popular with a young local crowd. Free filtered-water refills too.

I cannot recommend this cafe enough. I drank coffee and ate breakfast here for over 2 months regularly and would happily eat here for the rest of my life. Their coffee is superb: excellently sourced and prepared by consistently and extensively trained baristas who are...friendly and welcoming from the minute you enter to the moment you leave. Breakfast is decadent, painstakingly prepared from the highest quality ingredients and always more than filling. The pastries and desserts even outperform the industry-standard Glenary's across the street! You will feel absolutely warm and at home here under the high ceilings filled with beautiful rustic decor and delightful lighting pouring in through wall sized windows (make sure and be here for the sunset!). With its peaceful ambiance I was always able to get steady work done efficiently here at any time of the day. The owner of this establishment, Wanchook, was always incredibly kind to me. We frequently engaged in brilliant discussions and shared hearty laughter together over delicious coffees. Do yourself a grand favor and let this become your regular coffee and breakfast shop! Warmest Regards, LoganMore

If you are disappointed with coffees in Darjeeling it is because you haven't been here just yet. It is easy to miss the cafe signage because Himalayan Java is located on the first floor accessible only by a blink and miss staircase among busy pedestrian...zone. But ..but when you eventually stumble into this coffee heaven of a cafe...you will feel blessed! When you are in Darjeeling make it your priority to locate this address. And simply enjoy your coffee.More
