The food quality is excellent. The kitchen is very hygienic and the owners are extremely happy and polite people. The food tastes absolutely great and they absolutely do not compromise on the quantity of the food. It's purely a foodie's paradise.

We heard race reviews about this place and duly visited. I must say, I am nothing but delighted to have visited this place. We ordered The thik soup, a mixed Phing and a plate of pork momo. The soup was outstanding in taste, ingredients and...quantity. The Phing was delicious with a large potion. But the highlight was the momo. One of the most delicious momos I have ever eaten. The soft juicy pork melted in mouth. I will definitely visit this place again if and when I visit Darjeeling. A pointer for all, please queue up 12:30 for lunch. Restaurant opens at 1 but you will find people waiting well before that.More
Kunga is surely one of your Daily Dose of Darjeeling. This hidden gem has now become one of the pretty popular eateries around central Darjeeling. We did not get chance to explore the menu entirely due to limited opening hours. But we (2 person) tried...Pork Momo, Chicken Phing Soup and Pork Chili - from which we had to parcel the Pork Chili because the other two made us full. The Pork Momo needs special mention since it was extremely juicy and soft. Definitely worth a second visit. Pros: Well organized menu. Prompt service. Extremely big portions for reasonable price. Cons: Limited timing i.e. from 10:30 am - 6 pm. Remains temporarily shutdown once in a while. Extremely small leading to extended waiting time.More
Yummilicious Food,Had Chicken Momos and chicken Wanton soup 🍜 wanted more, went there again the next day but they were already closing😕😃
This is small restaurant but always full. Yiu can understand why this rush is for once you taste their food. Momos were big, chicken/pork stuffing was really tasty and juicy. They have other items as well like noodle soup hot and cold beverages. Phing was...another good thing to try.More
This restaurant might be small but it is the best place to eat in Darjeeling from the personal point of view. Excellent food and excellent service. Absolutely fantastic experience. Their momos and Thukpas are a must try. Very generous and soft spoken people run this...place and will help you in every way possible with your order. They even warn you if you are over ordering because their quantities are good enough for 2 people. It's a must try but make sure you plan your visit early because they close by 6pm. Will definitely visit everytime I go to Darjeeling.More
Ordered steamed momo chowmien and another dish for 3 of us. Huge queues. We were lucky not to wait too long. Hostess was honest and very communicative. Food too carme quickly. Great place overall.
I loved the Fried Momo! Got recommend from a friend to try Food at Kunga, and it was a worth visit! ❤️❤️❤️
If you are in Darjeeling, then please do visit Kunga. Even if you are there for half a day. It's worth the hype. The food is just amazing. Everything here is just so good - momos, thupka, noodles, lemon tea.
Kunga is probably the only place worthy of eating in Darjeeling IMO. Most of the places are overhyped and serve ordinary food. But Kunga is the perfect place to chow down some juicy momos or a hot bowl of Thukpa when the weather is chilly...(my climacell weather showed 2 degree celsius outside. The inside is not fancy, but extremely cozy. So if you really want to eat good food and don't care about pictures on Instagram, this is the place for you. Be ready to share tables.More
