Good vegetarian food, both North Indian and South Indian preparations are good. Reasonably priced. Lighting to be improved

The Meal was good with great service. You should try dine in lunch, Its best with South Indian meals with full curry and gravies. The Welcome tomato soup was highlight. If u wish u can go for Business meals if u eat lightly. and go for North Indian Meals if u want variety. The canvas and ambiance gives a nice... More

Finest vegetarian fare. We went for a-la-carte, ordered unusual items (not typical south Indian ones), had soups, starters, main course and desserts..... Wonderful !! Augratin (corn/ mushroom/ veg), all very tasty. The crowd had a VIP too (Shri Umayalpuram Sivaraman Iyer famous mritangist) with his family. We have visited woodlands since 1964.....can vouch for their quality.....really great.

This place has excellent vegetarian food in the heart of Chennai. We were staying at the hotel and enjoyed most of our meals at the restaurant.

We (my family) eat at this restaurant quite regularly. Though on this occasion it was for dinner, we have had lunch here also. Being frequent visitors, we have also sampled a number of items on the menu. However, we prefer in particular the North Indian and the Indian Chinese items in addition to the standard South India items. In our... More

Vrindaman restaurant has Indian and Chinese dishes. Its plain fried rice tastes very good without being spicy. The waiter gave good recommendations from the menu. The ambiance is good, although when there are many people the place feels a bit crowded. The walls are painted with nice scenes of Krishna's childhood.

Absolutely fantsastic!!!! Great ambiance, wide variety of South Indian, North Indian, Tandoor and Chinese dishes and great personalised service rolled into one. Mind you, with so many things going for it, this place is obviously crowded and more often than not one needs to wait for 15 minutes to get a table... but trust me it is well worth the... More

Unlike the Krishna Restaurant, they serve food in banana leaves. We only went here for the breakfast buffet. Everything served from dosa to idli to vadai was excellent. Staff was always quick and prompt to any requests and very friendly and courteous.
