When asked for a feedback book..didn't want to provide one..asked to complain abt the restaurant at the reception..even at the reception they were dodging and not willing to give an email address where I can provide feedback or raise a complain..after lots of coaxing... Had been here for couple of times for having lunch. They serve Meals in noon(Rice, Sambar, Rasam, Kuttu, Porial, Appalam) with banana leaves. All the items except appalam are unlimited. Good tasty food. Due to temptation, we eat more & we don't get the feeling for eating dinner. Even evening snacks bonda with coffee also good here.

I went to the "permit room" as its called. It's a vegetarian bar. Very basic in decor and ambience. They continuously bring u snacks. Full of regulars or so I assume. A very boys or should one say mans place. An experience worth ur while

One of the oldest place serving food, is completely no frills, old school look and feel of eating food. Everything is from the Raj era - the tables, the waiters, the experience is completely non-hurried. Serves budget meals if you have no other option.

This is one of the places in chennai where you get to eat authentic vegetarian food served on plantain leaf. Been here many times, there has never been a let down. It's isn't a modern restaurant. The interiors, tables and chairs are old styled. The waiters are old school as well the restaurant gets crowded easily as the capacity should... More

The food here is pure fresh & traditional. The food price is fixed in form of thali which is served on banana leaf in traditional style & its non oily & spicy.

I came here for breakfast. Even though the restaurant was not so much crowded they had the worst policy of service. U have to wait for 10 mins to get a glass of water. 30 mins to place and get one dosa! I am in India rite? ?? Or these guys are kidding here. At least the manager should respond... More

Good tasty food. Kind of home made. Not expensive at all. Good service. They have been maintaining this for the past 20+ years.
