Despite the long waiting time, it is worth going to this place. Ambience is not very great but clean. Ask for the menu and it is a delight to order for lunch. Taste of every dish is authentic south Indian cooking with the aroma of sambar and rasams will make you feel nostalgic.

Saravana Bhavan serves south indian food and this restaurant is quite popular but i didn't find anything unusual about food , i have tried dosa in vaango and haldirams and taste of saravana bhawan was similar with these restaurants .

On a recent trip to Delhi we had a meal during the week at this restaurant. The best Southern Indian food at a great price. On the weekend pls go early and expect a line and 20 min wait. Worth it!!! Staff was excellent. And the desserts - sundaes and Indian treat - OTT!!!

This is a one stop destination for south indian cuisines. Ranging from variety of dosas to uttapams this place is a must go. Nice ambience, friendly staff and tidy. But there's a catch to this place. There stands a queue! U heard it right. On weekdays it may take around 20-25 mins but on weekends it might take a little... More

Went there for lunch in weekday and was surprised seeing the queue. Queue was fast moving so not a problem. We ordered a South Indian Thali hat comes with Poori and so called small rice plate which was more than enough. Curries were authentic and dessert and side dishes like curd and Rasam were good. Masala Dosa and Rava Dosa... More

The place was near to my office. A very good place for lunch. The original South Indian taste. The mini tiffin served here gives value for money , a stomach full with good ambiance.

Good, fresh food ...always served quick and fast...thats what I always like about this place. Have been to Saravana several times. Be their fresh juices, or variety of dosas & uthapam, everything is yum. Must try their superlicious Badam Halwa... but BEWARE... its fulllllllll of Ghee. Highly recommended place for Vegetarians.

Authentic taste of South Indian food, good ambience and professional attitude of the workers. Would've loved prices to be about 15% less as already the taxes are high. Try any of the deserts, like Paisam, and the dal halwa. Even the juices have a typical south taste.
