Everyone working here is happy! The food was fresh and reasonably priced. We enjoyed a pizza here (although the large is not very big and can be easily eaten by one person) Highly recommend

We stayed here for 3 nights. The restaurant is located on the beach but the food is overpriced , serving small portions of snack bar style eats. Service is hit and miss . There are better options in the area.

Probably the worst rotti in Sri Lanka. It looked more like a pancake with a little filling and it was cold. The seafood noodles and rice were without any taste and the fish was hard and very dry. The service was friendly but that's it. We wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Wonderful beach front. Food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Balcony view and room made my stay perfect. Terrific massage

Place is just great for us. Close to beach, fishermans taking nets out from sea. This hotel in middle of everything is just wonderful way to get known of Tangalle. Hotel rooms are clean and quiet, only wawes can be hear at night time. Enjoy ;)

We went there after reading the recommendations on Lonely Planet. OK, maybe not the best thing to do ;-) Food wasn't too bad, a bit on the dry side, especially the lobster and the cuttlefish / calamari (better order something else) - but we had to wait ages for it to arrive.

The location of this restaurant was enough to keep us coming back. However, the food wasn't amazing. The salads were really good and the fresh seafood was okay. Really the best part was the location. The customer service was poor. Very slow at times when they weren't really doing anything else. Be warned that a large pizza is about the... More

We stayed one night at Frangipani but would like to have stayed longer. Room was clean, cute and spacious and the bed very comfortable. Located right on the beach, you can eat breakfast under a palm tree and gaze out to sea. The beach at Frangipani is clean and good for swimming (strong swimmers only) and the best beach I've...
