A little pricy but the food was good and the drinks were cold with prompt and friendly service. Besides regular Peruvian food they also serve burgers, pizza, and some other familiar food for westerners. I suggest venturing past the main area and up the hill a little bit to find these little food spots. I had the lomo, wife had... More

25% service fee is just insane! Avoid this restaurant is possible! Find another mom-pap restaurant, this is just too touristy and overpriced.

Our experience was nothing special. Qhawarina is just like most of the small budget restaurants in town they serve the 4x1 drinks and the 15 soles touristico menu. Our waitress seemed to forget about us for a long while (brought drinks after the meal, forgot the dessert but brought the bill etc) even though it was only us and a... More

Sat with a group and ordered a mushroom pizza. It took them an hour to bring a sad pita with cheese and mushrooms and no tomato sauce. The waiter did not appear to understand what a pizza should look like, even though there were many pizzas on the menu. I sent this back and ordered a cheese omelet since the... More

We got a three course meal with a drink that was kind of piña colada for 15 soles. For starter I got a mix salad that could be better if it had a sauce. For entree I got an Alpaca that was unfortunately overcooked and dry. For dessert was a fruit salad that with the jelly gave it an extra... More

Bad food. Slow service. Weak drinks. Burger patty pounded so thin and over cooked till it was crispy (in not a good way). Worst of all in the end they tried to rip us off. 5 entrees (1 soup, 3 burgers, chicken dish to-go, and enchiladas) and 4x1 drink special... the bill given to us was about 260soles or so.... More

From train station walked up via the shopping and restarant street. It was in the mid-level area. Restaurant with a big poster was placed outside on street. A friendly hostess introduce the menu. Sol. 15+20%tax (USD6.00 - 7.00) with Soup, Salad, Drinks & Main courses. It was very full and unpredicted that got a low price in such tourist place... More

Service was lackluster - we often had to flag the restaurant "solicitor" for additional drinks. The lomo saltado was flavorful and my particular "batch" was tender enough with a few tough pieces thrown in there. My fiance liked the flavor so much he later ordered the same thing but all his meat was tough - his plate was filled with... More

There were 5 of us and no one had a good meal. Very overdone and nothing spectacular or different about this place than any other. Stick to this place for cheap drinks and jenga only, then move on for food.

There is no shortage of restaurants in Aguas Calientes so I would suggest you go elsewhere. Our food took nearly an hour to arrive (despite only two tables of two with orders in ahead of us) and was passable at best. However, we fared better than the poor guys who ordered pizza - the fire in the wood oven was... More
