Really disappointed. They introduced a new menu with increased prices. We asked for some drinks (Soda Water, Coke Zero) with a negative response. Not available. This is the first part. Do not expect that everything is available. Be aware that the prices on the menu are without GST. That means you have to add 10% (April 2017). You will not... More

A very humble establishment spanning years just next door to the Bintango Supermarket. Food quality is good using local fresh produce which is abundant and nutritious in the Chinese dishes it offers. However, the owners need to invest in regular pest control after my recent visit.

Often I visit that Restaurant - this is because of limitations in Goroka. It is centrally localted - opposite the Bird of Paradise Hotel. This in advantage. The food is only average. One of the most annoying parts of this restaurant ist, that you cannot order an entree and the main course, that you have the entree first and later... More

Was there with a colleague and my personal opinion - well for someone who knows Asian food, I would say it's just ok. I wouldn't go back simply because it's not to my personal taste. The portions are huge and suitable for the locals. I would not recommend it to fellow expats. The staffs are ok, I guess. Make sure... More

We decided to be adventurous despite the nasty appearance and smell. One person in my group got horrendously ill from food poisoning and no one else was particularly impressed with their meal. If they clean up the facility it might be a decent place to eat.

The environment seemed OK - there was the smell from the greasy food in the takeaway section but it wasn't unpleasant - but the food was pretty bad. Vegetables that were pretty tasteless but covered in some sickly sweet greasy concoction. The mongolian lamb seemed gelatinous with greasy sauce. I did have a decent pork mince and tofu dish but... We couldn't eat two of the three dishes because they had a rotten smell. Waitress said the meat was fine and it was the sauce causing the smell. We still asked for them to make us something else. The replacement dishes were better. I paid with a Visa that I don't use for anything else and immediately afterwards I got... More

Pretty simple, was told by locals the food is very nice. 4 of us walked in and reviewed the menu. We all looked at each other as we all noted a terrible smell. looked big and clean, but no way any of us were eating with that smell (this was at 5:30pm before any customers or cooking, place was empty)... Situated in downtown Goroka it does not give the greatest apperance from outside and to the uninitiated they may be put off. The security has to slip you through the front door but then it opens up into a large chinese resaurant. Looks a bit tired but has that special atmosphere that you only get in these places. Then comes... More
