Once you make your way down to the restaurant you're spoiled with a great view of the canyon and surrounding mountains. The food is mostly standard Lebanese and in massive oversupply. It feels wasteful to leave so much food but they cater for double your group (also fairly standard it seems). It is a far away odd little part of... More

Let me just tell you that after nice road trip in the region and after discovering wadi annoubine, it is a must to have a break and grab lunch at About Joseph. The ambience was very nice for a family outing and the view is breath taking. Food is very good too. Must try.

During our visit to Wadi Quanobeen, we had our lunch at the famous Abo Joseph restaurant, which is located at the end of the road that leads to the old Deir of Mar Elisha. So, we parked our car 200 m before the restaurant, and walked to the restaurant , then to the Deir. It is a nice family restaurant... More

Previous reviews have raved about this place so we stopped off while walking back from the Qannubin Monastery (after walking there from Mar Lishaa). The food is standard Lebanese, but the locations and the views are what makes this a nice place to stop for a snack or cold beer after walking up and down the valley all day.
