We stopped here on our way back to Tuktuk and man, I am happy we did! I had the pineapple curry and a homemade icecream. Not only was the presentation and the service excellent, it was extremely delicious too!

We had a lunch there. Both meals very tasty. Sadly the icecreams were good. We had mango. Dragon. Chocolate and strawberry. All of them where much to sweet and lot of small water ice particles in. So they need to invest in a proper ice making machine to get them creamy... Despite that still very nice place.

We stumbled across this cafe whilst motorbiking around, it is outside tuk tuk, but easily rideable buy push bike about 30mins, but obviously a lot less by motorbike. We were enticed in the the "homemade icecream" sign and we so glad we did. The cafe is a little oasis, with a really enticing but concise menu. We had tender beef... More

The distance of this cafe is a bit far if u're staying in tuk tuk, but u can get here by motorbike or car. Definitely not working distance from tuk tuk. Their guacamole is very nice!

We came upon this restaurant by chance after some interesting but hot and tiring sightseeing. It is an amazing retreat, a peaceful setting on Lake Toba. Pretty gardens and creative mosaics everywhere. My husband and I ordered one of the daily specials - Eggplant Sumatera - it was delicious and I hope we have the opportunity to return another time... Had 4 flavours of ice cream all of which was amazing. Didn't try the other dishes but if vegetarian or vegan they did look amazing. Also had the iced coffee which was good. Nice setting. Recommended

Worth going for the raw chocolate sorbet alone! We went on our way back from the Batak village. Very tranquil atmosphere.

As a Buddhist-vegan it was like stumbling upon an oasis, with green and tasty food in a beautiful setting. Good sized portions, very reasonably priced. The dairy-free sorbets were exceptional, definitely their speciality. The service was a little unusual, when you arrive you must ring the bell and someone will come out of the house to take your order. I... More
