Been in Lanta for 4 days and by far the best restaurant we've visited. Food was delicious and well explained with a range of spiciness. Friendly staff and reasonably priced.

We came across this place when spending one evening in Saladan. As you go through to the seating area you walk past the kitchens and can see all that is being done. The menu was very extensive but we stuck to Thai. Our food was very tasty and well presented. The only thing I thought was a slight let down... More

We found out that the owners of the cooking school we had visited the previous day owned this restaurant so we decided to check it out knowing how delish the food we had made at the school was. It did not disappoint. If you are in Koh Lanta this a must for dinner one night.

The Black Pearl is right on the water in Saladan so it has great ambience. I had stir fried mixed vegetables and it was delicious. Friendly employees.

This is one of these tourist restaurants with a 10 pages menu. Everything from the Thai, japanese, Mexican and Indian kitchen. I am not sure, but they might even have pizzas. Some might find that intriguing - I do not. We ordered a handfull of small dishes and were fully aware, that they would most likely come in complete random... More

Stopped off for food on our first night in Koh Lanta based on a recommendation from a friend. The food was great, we both had a Thai-dish and absolutely no complaints. The price was decent and a nice spot of the water as well. We definitely recommend!

On our second visit to the Layana hotel, we've been to the Black Pearl twice and are going again tonight. The food is extremely good and as far as my wife is concerned, the best black pepper crab in Ko Lanta. I've tried many of their dishes over the past two years and none fail to please. Very very good... More

We had a lovely meal and the service was great. A little upset when they overcharged us on the bill. this is the second time it has happened, the other time a restaurant a short walk away seems to be a trend. so just check your bill

We have ordered fried fish in pepper and garlic, Tom Yum soup, crab, Indian curry and mango sticky rice. All dishes were delicious, beautifully garnished and in reasonable price. We enjoyed the evening a lot and are sending greetings to the very friendly and smiling staff!

Very nice restaurant, clean, right on the coast line, with view to the sea and fresh sea food- catch of the day! Had a wonderful and tasty dinner! Very recommanded! And Try the sticky rice with mango as a desert- very good traditional Thai dessert!
