food and atmosphere is the best. Say Hi to Zeus when you are there. Relax and enjoy the island taste of culture of the quietness and setting. Food is always great with the home cooked style of gourmet choices.
What a magical evening. This place was randomly recommended by 2 different groups we bumped into. Food was great. Ambiance was unique and magical. Very accommodating but most importantly the bats do their thing. Owner Zac has befriended this group of bats and it truely...is magical to watch them zoom around and drink from the cup. Great artwork I'm assuming is also for sale. Didnt even push us to buy but would make a great souvenir. "Drink me" and "read me"
We drank the drink.
I hope you get to too.More
The food was really amazing. They cooked everything the way you want it. You were not rushed to get in and out. We were a group of 5. They had other smaller parties. The other people with us say they have been there with larger...parties.More
Finally found this peaceful gem, so glad we did. We were treated to a private dinner and bat show! We started with cabernet sauvignon on the couch and listened to jazz, then had ceviche as an appetizer. I had shrimp, lobster and sea bass with...plantains and vegetables. My husband had surf and turf with mashed potatoes and vegetables. I found the sauce wonderful, and everything was cooked perfectly. I could only finish about 1/3 of my food, there was so much, so Zach wrapped foil around the plate and said to just bring the plate back sometime! Luis is a wonderful chef and a great artist. The bats were an amazing experience! The ambiance is comfortable, inviting and not at all what we would expect a restaurant to have. Can't wait to come back!!!More
Worth taking the time to find. Hubby and I had an amazing meal of shrimp, sea bass and lobster tail. All cooked to perfection and so delicious. The key lime pie was great as well. Definitely a must find, you won't be disappointed. It is...so cozy and inviting. My husband had a wonderful cocktail of vodka along with fresh lime and lemon that was so good he had to have another. Wish we'd found it sooner as we would have definitely had dinner there more than once to try other options on the menu.More
We were fortunate to be included in a friends birthday gathering at the Lily Pond. An amazing experience. Food first. Everyone had a top shelf dinner. I had the pork chops and K had the filet. Both great. While the food is prepared and served...at a high standard, the really beauty of dining at the Lily Pond is the setting and of course, Zak & Luis. This property is beautiful and one of a kind. Everywhere you look you see something unique and surprising. After dinner ask Zak to see the art room and then stay for the bat show. Unique, affordable, and delicious. A gem.More
I want to give a Big shout out to the owners Zak & Luis...
We invited 10 friends to join us for dinner & Zak & Luis did an amazing job setting everything up & the food was so delicious & fresh. I’d recommend everything...on the menu.
The chocolate cake 🎂 at the end was the best!!
If you’re on vacation & need a nice dinner out I’d highly recommend The Lily Pond House, nice atmosphere, off the main road & very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful music playing & great service!!!! The prices are very reasonable too for all that you get. It’s best to call ahead for reservations & ask about the fresh food of the day.More
We had a great birthday dinner celebrating a friends big day. Zak and Luis are wonderful Hosts!

Want some great Sea Bass, Luis is the chef to give it to you. The Lily Pond in West End might be difficult to find but worth the search. Once you duck under the hedge that is over the door and step over the ladder...fence, you'll be met by Zak who will seat and serve you. Luis will be in the kitchen preparing your food. This is a unique restaurant and unlike any other in Roatan. Yes, the other food selections are great too but the Sea Bass is my go to meal. Leave your plastic in your wallet as this is cash only. You won't be disappointed.More
We stumbled on this place by accident. It looks like a private home eccentrically decorated complete with turtle pond and bat houses. The food was excellent and the owner was very interesting. He only takes a hand full of tables a night so make reservations...in advance.More
