THE SALTY MANGO, Sandy Bay

Just came home from a wonderful dinner at the Salty Mango. Our server Harrison was very professional. He made sure to repeat each order so that is was correct. When the food came out of the kitchen Harrison made sure to serve the ladies first....I have not had this level of service since I have been on the island. The food was delicious! We started our meal with the Conch ceviche and drinks. The order was prepared to perfection. The Conch was firm yet tender and very flavorful. Myself I had the Lobster pasta, OMG was it a huge serving of food. The lobster pieces were large and the pasta was very creamy. You really do not need a side let alone 2 to go with this meal. I boxed up a large portion and will be having that for lunch tomorrow. The meals prepared by George were fresh, hot and had so much flavor. The restaurant was quite only a few people at the bar, I believe this is because of the lack of tourist currently. The dinning area is intimate and we felt very welcome. We will be back for a breakfast and or lunch and maybe both!! The Salty Mango is worth a stop if you like good food, impeccable service and a nice dining experience.More

Great in every way!

We were a group of 5 and had a wonderful experience. Appetizers were great and everyone's meal was exactly as ordered and delicious! Staff is friendly and fun and the meal was great all around! Definitely a must stop, varied menu, super specials and very...reasonably priced.More

fair winds and the best 15 buck for 3 lobsters in the world!

great atmosphere, cold bee r and great food. Happy birthday Harrison. Blue island divers are also a short walk to the beach.

Great Burger

Really enjoyed my meal at Salty Mango. I had the Island Burger and it was amazing. My wife had fish and she loved her meal also. Go for dinner and stick around to play some LCR after it was really fun.

Lunch at Salty Mango

We were lucky to taste the fish with coconut rice and beans, coleslaw and veggies just before the shut down due to covid 19. The meal was delicious. If covid wouldnt have happend, we defenitely have tried out the rest of the menu as well....Fingers crossed the guys can open up again and keep on serving delicious food.More

Great dinner

We ate there our first night in Roatan, it was close to where we stayed in Lawson Rock. The food was very good.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE

We just seen the SIGN- took a chance and it paid off! Our young server, Gerison was Both PROFESSIONAL & PERSONABLE. A great selection of blender beverages, of which multiple were tried and ALL were enjoyed. George’s PASSION for cheffing came through in our FOOD!

Not disappointed, just as great as two years ago

We first visited The Salty Mango two years ago, and really enjoyed the setting, food, monkey la la, and the staff. Nice to see it is thriving after two years and everything was just as great !

Best food

This is the best food and drinks on the Island, we had a wonderful diner, in a beautiful setting and a great time here at The Salty Mano!! We will for sure be back before we leave. Everyone is very friendly and we loved getting...to visit with the Owner. No mater where you are on the Island make it over especially on Fridays. They organize a LCR game for everyone. Sounds like so much fun, we will make sure to not miss!More
