What a gem to stumble upon

Having just done an arduous walk from West Bay to the West End with two young children and 4 adults in some extreme heat, (at least for us), we collapsed ourselves into one of the first restaurants we came across, and fortunately for us it...was this one!!!! I'll keep this short and to the point. The food was phenomenal, the portions huge, the service charming and delightful, and for the first time since setting foot on Roatan 2 weeks earlier, we received a meal in less than hour after entering restaurant!!!! (In fact it was probably less than 15 minutes from ordering that our food arrived)!! We are so looking forward to going back this week, but will order a little less food this time around, due to previously mentioned huge portion sizes. Way to go, Caribbean Blue, and thanks for a fantastic lunch!!More

Where local gringos eat!

Kathy and Kenny have put together a great little Tex-Mex restaurant in West End. Good food and plenty of it. Enjoy an unobstructed view of the sunset while you enjoy your dinner. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat on Roatan. You will see...lots of repeat customers which is a testimony to their excellent fare and service.More

Great food!

Love the food, love the owners love the setting! A must when you are in West end! Huge portions, you can share and It is good food for the price!

Food Poisoning

A group of 6 of us dined here a few days ago. My husband and I got food poisoning from the wings or chile rellenos with shrimp. Not really sure why it's called Caribbean Blue if it's a "Tex-Mex" restaurant. Very upset a part of...our vacation was ruined. People in our group did say the fish tacos were good but I would not recommend wasting an evening here. Don't risk it.More

Caribean Blue - West End Tex-Mex

Went into West End on a Monday night and there were actually only a few restaurants open. Caribean Blue was filled with local gringos, as well as tourists and divers. Ann & Allan were great waiters, even though it was quite busy being "all you...can eat" chicken wing night. We had a blackened white fish, possibly snapper. It was well seasoned and very, very good. The recommendation from Ann was for the stuffed and fried avocado and we were not let down. She advised us that the avocado was huge and even with two people sharing, there was still some left over. And it was every bit as good with the spicy chicken filling as she had said that it would be. Keep in mind that they don't take credit cards.More

Kenny is a blast from the past

This place was a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. Some of the best food on the island. Kenny was very charming and straight out of the 70's. Never did meet the wife, but she is a great cook. We had taco's and drinks. Total...cost was $12 us with tip. If you are in Roatan Westend, grab a bite to eat and a drink here. Thanks for the great experience Kenny. Good luck in the future.More

Excellent Tex-Mex

The fried avocado was fantastic and the enchillidas were made perfect. Great location with great views.

Caribbean Blue in West End

Caribbean Blue is actually in West end down by Foster's. Linda and Kenny are back with their Tex- Mex menu now in West End. They apparently have been open now just a few weeks. We had eaten at Sunshine cafe when they were there and...we were not disappointed at their new home. By far it was the best place we ate in West End not only with respect to the great Tex Mex flavors but also by the huge portions, great prices and attentive, friendly service. It is a slow time of year there in Roatan but thiers was the only restaurant on the West End Strip filled with locals. We highly recommned it.More
