I had read many excellent reviews about Pizzeria Da Sergio, so me and my wife had to try it out. When we got to the restaurant there was a queue of about 6 people outside, but we only waited about 10 minutes to be shown...to a table, which was upstairs. The choice of Pizza’s on the menu left us both torn as to which one to choose. I went for the Germany and my wife chose the 4 Formaggi, both normal size. We were served our drinks and our Pizzas arrived in about 20 minutes. Both Pizzas were absolutely delicious and large considering they were on the menu as ‘normal’ sized. The Pizza base was thin and slightly crispy and there was lots of topping on both. It is easy to see why this restaurant receives so many excellent reviews. We both loved our Pizzas that much that we returned 3 nights later in our week in Rovinj. There is no pre booking option and I can imagine it gets quite busy in the high season, but it’s one Pizzeria you shouldn’t miss while in Rovinj.More

Pizza is excellent, with thin dough. No wonder this place is highly regarded. Unfortunately, good impressions stop here, due to terrible service. We've been waiting to be served for 15 minutes. After asking the waiter to take our order, we were scoffed at, asked why...we were in a hurry, and to at least let him hang his apron. Upon taking our food order, he asked us what we'd like to drink. We asked for glasses of regular tap water. We were told the water was only served from packaged bottle, which we declined, but were met with more discontent from the waiter. When we asked for the receipt, we were told that credit cards were not being accepted, only cash. The waiter also informed us he didn't have any change to return, so we had to provide the exact amount. In this day and age, I find that somewhat impractical, but whatever. Anyway, if it wasn't for the terrible and rude service, I'd highly recommend this place. However, this way, I'd avoid them at all cost (won't be returning). Pizzeria Da Sergio was the best price during our holiday. We didn't have to wait much for a table for two. The waiter call by your name when you will turn to a free table. You can eat in and take it away as well....We chose both option, first time we ate in and next time we take it away next to the sea and watch sunset during our dinner :)More

Absolutely phenomenal pizza place! Delicious pizza, made with local ingredients, beautifully located among tiny Rstreets of old central Rovinj. The owner is very kind and helpful. One warning: the payment od cash only, but the ATM is just down the street.

In keeping with other reviews avoid unless you want to be treated like cattle. No booking allowed, no credit cards , made to wait outside in a queue. No welcome and treated with disdain. Forget it

If you love thin crust pizza then this is the best place in Rovinj to indulge your passion. It was already busy when we arrived early evening and by the time we left there was a queue out the door which I think speaks for...itself how popular this place is. Its spread over 2 floors but no outside seating. We were seated upstairs, nothing to shout about the decor, however, service was professional and all of our pizzas were delicious, as good as any we've had in Italy.More

Delicious pizzas in this very cost little restaurant. A lot of choice so there is something for every taste! The normal size is pretty big in my opinion but no issue to finish jour plate as the dough is so thin and ingredients so fresh!...One of the best pizzas I had outside ItalyMore

Exellent service, friendly waiters that know their profession. Thin crusted pizza exactly as it should be, with pure flavors and a big menu. We loved it! Definitively the best pizza of Rovinj.

We had high hopes gives the reviews and the long line outside the restaurant. When ordering, we specifically mentioned that we like crispy pizza. The pizza came out in 10 minutes and was completely the opposite of crispy. They put so little sauce that there...is no reason to serve droopy pizza. I guess they just don't care - the goal is to serve the customer quickly and hope they empty the table quickly for the next people in line.More

Decent but very average pizza. We did not expect too much anyway. Tourist place for one time visit. More romana than napolitana. They do not accept credit cards. Only cash.
