The perfect place to experience a very nice evening in the old town of Porec. The beautiful konoba is located in a very nice little street. We eat the perfectly delicious pasta with truffle. On the second evening I chose the beef fillet with truffles....The fillet was very good and the perfect cooking point. The sauce with truffles was delicious. The excellent service of the whole team is part of the whole ambienceMore

We visited Konoba Aba in August with our family (a group of 5). Seating inside was quite hot. The AC was on, but the windows were also open. It was very busy in the restaurant so the waiting time for service, appetizers and mains were...quite extended. We did felt that it was a bit too long, especially because we were so ready to eat after a whole day on the beach. We tried the local omelette with truffles for appetizer- tasted great! For mains we had a variety of fish and meat. The fish platter was delicious and served delicately. The meat was fresh and well prepared too. Make sure to book a table in advance if you want to spend a quite evening in the place.More

We have arrived to Poreč on a Tuesday evening. Luckily I have booked a table at Konoba Aba 3 days before our arrival because they were turning away people as they were full until 11 p.m. I would say Konoba Aba has easily the best...čevapčiči and pljeskavica in town, it’s worth the wait. But yes we did wait about 30 minutes until they took our order and another 45-50 minutes until we got our orders. Our waiter was very “easygoing” while he was answering all of our questions about the ingredients and products they use in the different dishes. He was a bit strange first but we eased up to him quite quickly as he started joking around with us and we understood he is just tired from the crowd pouring into the restaurant. He was cool, cheeky and very entertaining. :) All in all it was a very pleasant evening we spent at Konoba Aba and of course we got the costumery free grappa as we left the place.More

Great food! We stayed in Porec for 9 days and went to Aba 3 times! 'Konoba' means Authentic, so don't expect cocktails and fancy dishes. They make authentic Croatian food. In my country, The Netherlands, dishes with truffle are very expensive while they use a...little but at Aba it's very cheap and they use like 1 whole truffle per dish! TIP: taste the risotto Aba with scampi and shrimps, we loved it. Also the waiters are too kind. The one with the great teeth & smile speaks about 4 languages and always wishes us 'eetsmakelijk'. You have to make a reservation for this restaurant! It's always so busy, maybe because the food and the service is so great? :)More

One of the best restaurants in Porec so far. All was perfect!! We were there for a week and visited this restaurant twice. I loved all the food especially spaghetti seafood. They madesuch a good seafood meal. I’m not a truffle fan but my bf...loved it there. He said “one of the best truffles he has ever eaten”. In terms of the service, it was amazing! It’s a family business which runs by heart, I can feel it from the food and service they offered.More
